As a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, your son will gain valuable experiences and skills which will help him succeed long after his college days are over. As a member of Sigma Nu, your son will have the opportunity to serve on a committee or as an officer. Each officer and committee member is given responsibilities to maintain the operations of the chapter. Your son will have countless valuable learning experiences but most importantly, he will learn the invaluable skill of leadership. To facilitate your son’s growth and development as a leader, Sigma Nu implements the LEAD Program.
LEAD is a four-phase member development program. LEAD is an acronym for Leadership, Ethics, Achievement, and Development. The purpose of LEAD is to develop ethical leaders for society, brothers who will make an impact on their chapter, campus and community. Each of the phases includes a unique curriculum aimed to strengthen each man’s mind, heart and character
Sessions include exercises, simulations and discussions to highlight leadership issues students will face while in school and later in their lives and careers. Sigma Nu Fraternity is able to implement the program through the generous support of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation, which is in turn supported by Sigma Nu alumni. We believe that our LEAD Program builds better men through interactive simulations, lectures, workshops, and mentoring to help them achieve their own personal dreams and ambitions.
