Alumni-Active Softball Game

On May 5, members of the Active and Alumni chapters met in Richmond to play each other in a game of softball. Though the weather was awful, that didn’t stop everyone from playing and having a great time. The Alumni came out on top this time, and it will definitely not be the last Alumni-Active softball game!

Theta Theta Chapter had another great year at Greek Weekend and Greek Awards! Below are all of the awards taken home by Theta Theta Chapter and its Brothers this year:

3rd Overall in Greek Games
3rd in Greek Sing (paired with Kappa Alpha Theta sorority)
Outstanding Executive Council Award

This weekend at Sigma Nu Headquarters in Lexington, Virginia, Theta Theta Chapter initiated two new outstanding members – Brandon Mandigo (ΘΘ505) and Mitch Siemens (ΘΘ506). Congratulations to the new members of Theta Theta chapter!!!

VMI Pilgrimage and Initiation

On January 18-20, 2013, Theta Theta Chapter will be making a trip to Virginia Military Institute where Sigma Nu was founded. While there, the Candidates from Fall 2012 will be initiated in the Alpha Room. This is a special trip for all the members of Theta Theta Chapter and especially for the Candidates to be initiated there.

Spring 2013 Recruitment

The dates for Theta Theta Chapter’s Spring 2013 Recruitment have been set! Spring recruitment will be held on January 21-24, as well as January 28-31. Both sets of dates will be held in the Herndon Lounge in the Powell Building. Stay tuned for more information and for the activities for each evening!

New Sweetheart

This Monday (12/10/12) Theta Theta Chapter presented Andrea Danley as their new Sweetheart. Andrea is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi, and is a Senior Dietetics Major from Richmond, KY. Congratulations to Andrea and to the Brothers of Theta Theta Chapter for having an amazing woman to represent them on campus!

2012-2013 Executive Council

This past weekend, the Theta Theta Chapter said goodbye to the previous Executive Council, and transitioned to the 2012-2013 Executive Council. A great deal of thanks goes to Matt Tudor, Tristan Miller, JC Nilles, Joey Conrad, Nick Brock, and Zac Morrison for all of the hard work and dedication they put in serving the Chapter.

Good luck to the 2012-2013 Executive Council, Scott Caudill, Clay Caylor, Don Hawkins, Jamie Smith, Ryan Bice, and David Stanek. Here’s to an amazing year to come!
