The Risk Reduction chair has a primary duty which is to uphold our risk reduction policies set forth by the fraternity and by FIPG (Fraternal Information Programming Group). He is also in charge of his committee. They must be present at all official events to be sure that these policies are being carried out. All of these official events require certain forms and paperwork before they can be held, in which the chairman sees that all of this gets completed. In addition to these responsibilities, they are responsible for organizing two risk reduction events throughout the duration of the semester. Normal topics include safe sex and alcohol awareness. The purpose of these events is to educate brothers and students about these risks and preventable measures against these risks. All in all, the chairman’s job is to enforce the policies set forth and promote a healthy and safe fraternity.
